To separate solids from liquids, various sectors use industrial filter press. A liquid is forced through a number of filter plates using pressure in this form of mechanical separation apparatus. Filter cloths or filter membranes are placed over the filter plates to trap the solids and let the filtered liquid flow through. There are several stages involved in using a filter press. The mixture of liquids is first poured into the filter press. The filter plates trap the solids, and a separate container is used to gather the filtered liquid. The industrial filter press will instantly shut off once the solids have reached a certain level and the solids can be removed.
